Online Bill Pay FAQs

What is Online Banking and Bill Pay and how does it work?

RBC Bank Online Banking and Bill Pay service is free and designed to make your life easier by reducing the need for checks, envelopes, and stamps. All you have to do is tell us whom you want to pay and when, and with the click of a mouse your bills are paid. This feature allows you to pay anyone you would pay with a check from your checkbook- your utility bill, doctor or even the neighborhood boy who cuts the grass.

Please note, however, that tax payments, court ordered payments and payments outside of the United States are excluded through this service.

RBC Bank does not take money out of your account in advance of the payment date. Funds are paid to your biller by either electronic draft or paper check drawn on your account.

Payments can be scheduled up to one year in advance.

Bill Payments do not appear in your account history until they have cleared your account.
