RBC Bank Names Archibald Hill Head Of Corporate Citizenship
Veteran Banker and Community Development Leader to Spearhead Bank’s Community Outreach Efforts
Raleigh, N.C. - April 12, 2011 – Archibald B. Hill, III, has joined RBC Bank as head of Corporate Citizenship. In this role he will lead the bank’s philanthropy, community development and outreach efforts.

Hill will relocate to Raleigh from Atlanta. Most recently, Hill served as lead director for Fannie Mae Corporation’s Southeast Group. While with Fannie Mae, Hill also was director of the Atlanta Partnership Office focused on housing and community development; this work was recognized by the President of the United States in 2002. Hill previously served as Georgia director for CRA for First Union National Bank. He started his banking career as a commercial banker with Harris Trust and Savings Bank of Chicago in 1984.
Hill holds a bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College in Atlanta, has completed graduate courses in finance and accounting from the Kellog School of Business at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., and has completed additional professional development training including the Fannie Mae Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School in 2000.
