RBC Bank Donates $3,000 To Education Foundation Of Indian River County

Raleigh, N.C. – March 14, 2011 – RBC Bank recently donated $3,000 to the Education Foundation of Indian River County, an organization whose mission is to enrich and enhance educational opportunities for students and teachers in Indian River County. Rene Arteaga, regional manager for RBC Bank’s Treasure Coast Region, recently presented the donation to Education Foundation of IRC President of Board of Directors John Campione.
"The opportunity to provide resources to the youth of our community is a highlight to any business," said Arteaga. "At RBC Bank, working with our educators to achieve scholastic excellence amongst our youth is a top priority."
The grant from RBC Bank will help fund the Indian River Regional Science and Engineering Fair Program. This program helps to engage all students in the process of applying the scientific method through hands-on projects.
Arteaga adds, "We are proud to serve the Indian River County community and look forward to the continued partnership with our educators, students and community leaders in enhancing the educational resources."
