Raleigh, N.C. – March 14, 2011 – RBC Bank recently donated $2,500 to Community Coordinated Care for Children, Inc. (4C), a private, non-profit organization that provides comprehensive social services to the children and families of Central Florida. Scott Wall, Senior Vice President for RBC Bank’s Commercial Markets, recently presented the donation to 4C President and CEO Colleen Gallagher.

"RBC Bank is proud to contribute to this important organization that does such great things in our local community for children and families in need of quality child care services," said Wall.

Organized in 1969, 4C has been helping children and families with early child care needs throughout the central Florida area with programs such as their "Child Care Food Program," "Early Head Start," and "School Readiness."

The grant from RBC Bank will assist in the continuation of their annual "Tees and Ties" fundraiser, on March 26, 2011. Hosted at BB King’s Blues Club in Pointe Orlando, this event raises funds through both silent and live auctions as the BB King Band plays into the night.

"4C is very grateful for RBC Bank’s generous contribution to the annual ‘4C Tees and Ties’ fundraiser to help low income families and children access quality child care," said Gallagher. "We are also appreciative of the on-going leadership of Scott Wall from RBC Bank who serves as the Chairman of 4C's Board of Directors."
