Bank Appoints Brian Repp to Newly-Created Role Dedicated to Enhancing Client Experience

Raleigh, N.C. – December 27, 2010 – RBC Bank has named a seasoned banker with more than two decades of experience, Brian Repp, as vice president leading the Client Experience Strategy.

Repp brings direct client experience into his new leadership position; for the past three years he has served as Regional President for about 110 RBC Bank offices in Western North Carolina, Greensboro, Charlotte and Atlanta.

“Improving the client experience is not a new concept for RBC Bank; but as client needs are changing, it is important that we invest the time and resources to understand them,” said Reggie Davis, president of RBC Bank.  “This new position and Brian’s deep experience serving clients signals the importance we place on our clients and their experience with us.”

RBC Bank’s client experience strategy includes evaluating operational systems and processes to minimize client irritants, and ensuring products and services across all lines of business are as client-friendly as possible.

“A positive client experience is the most effective way to grow relationships and to gain referrals for new business,” said Repp.  “We are putting our understanding of that core business truth into practice by enhancing our focus to ensure that our clients have a best-in-class experience at all times.”

Repp is active in the Atlanta community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Midtown Alliance. He will maintain offices in Atlanta and Raleigh.
