RBC Bank Hires Veteran Banker as Commercial Markets Leader
Jean Brinkmann Brings More Than 25 Years of Vast Banking Knowledge to RBC Bank
Raleigh, N.C. – December 15, 2010 – Jean Brinkmann has joined RBC Bank as head of the bank’s Commercial Markets. Brinkmann brings more than 25 years of leadership experience with Bank of America to her new RBC Bank role.
At RBC Bank, Brinkmann will lead the Commercial Markets team, responsible for developing and implementing strategic business priorities to grow and deepen relationships with existing and new commercial, corporate, public and institutional and knowledge-based industries clients.

Client relationships and product innovation are areas of strength for Brinkmann as her past positions demonstrate. At Bank of America she served in a number of senior leadership roles both regionally and nationally – among them, Commercial Executive for the California region, Commercial Executive for the Midwest region and U.S. Business Marketing Executive. In addition to these roles and others in her extensive commercial banking background, Brinkmann also has a decade of experience in Consumer and Private Banking.
Brinkmann is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles. She holds Six Sigma Black Belt and Design for Six Sigma certifications. Brinkmann has been an active member in the communities where she has lived, participating in both business development and philanthropic organizations. She will be based in Raleigh, and plans to become active in the Raleigh community.
