Raleigh, N.C. – December 7, 2010 – RBC Bank recently appointed Jeffrey Scharps as regional president of Retail Banking for the bank’s Central Region, based in Atlanta, Ga. He brings more than 27 years of banking experience to this new role.

As regional president, Scharps will lead retail banking in the bank’s Central region, which is made up of 102 branches in Western North Carolina, South Carolina and the Metro Atlanta markets in Georgia.
