RBC Bank Names New Chief Financial Officer
Glenn McCoy Brings 28 Years Banking Experience to New Role
RALEIGH, N.C. – Sept. 21, 2009 – RBC Bank today announced the appointment of Glenn D. McCoy to chief financial officer of RBC Bank. As CFO, McCoy will lead the Finance division in developing key strategic performance targets and partnering with the business to analyze and achieve those financial goals.
"Glenn brings deep industry knowledge to RBC Bank and is the right person to help us increase efficiencies and prepare for future growth," said Scott Custer, RBC Bank CEO. "We are excited to have him joining our team."
McCoy joins RBC Bank after 28 years with Wachovia Corporation and First Union, where he was most recently the chief financial officer of the Mortgage and Retail Credit division and led major initiatives that improved the division’s profitability and future capability.

McCoy is a graduate of Westminster College in Fulton, Mo., and received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. He will be based at RBC Bank’s corporate headquarters in Raleigh, N.C.
