RBC Bank Announces “Shoot for Loot” ACC Sweepstakes Winner

RALEIGH, N.C. – March 2, 2009 – RBC Bank recently announced the grand prize winner of its “Shoot for Loot at the ACC Tournament” sweepstakes. Mark Cacchione of Raleigh, N.C., was selected from nearly 5,700 contestants to attend the 2009 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, March 12-15.

Cacchione and a friend—who he’s calling his “coach”—will enjoy this year’s ACC Tournament in true VIP style. As the grand prize winner, he will receive two VIP tickets to all tournament sessions, complimentary travel to Atlanta, accommodations, an invitation to the ACC Legends Brunch and an opportunity for special behind-the-scenes access during the tournament. He will also show off his own hoop skills for a chance to win up to $1 million during a half-time shoot-out at the 7 p.m. game on Thursday, March 12. “I am completely overwhelmed and ecstatic about winning this opportunity,” said Cacchione.

“I’m a fan of all the local ACC schools and am so excited that I will get to go to all 11 games.”

“We’re excited to announce the winner of this sweepstakes, which is a fantastic tribute to the deep-rooted love of college basketball here in ACC country,” said Scott Custer, RBC Bank chairman and CEO. “This is the third year we have sent lucky fans to the tournament and we hope Mark enjoys this experience.”
