RBC Rewards Now Includes Enhanced Benefits and Special Travel Options
RALEIGH, N.C. – Oct. 27, 2008 – RBC Bank announced today a new credit and check card rewards
program, offering industry-leading enhanced benefits and special travel options, effective immediately.
RBC Bank has implemented the new card rewards program that will offer RBC Bank’s business and
consumer credit and check card clients an expanded opportunity to earn free rewards.

despite the tough economic times shows that RBC Bank is here in business with great strength and
The new program leads the market with its impressive travel rewards. Setting RBC Rewards apart from
other banks’ rewards programs, there are no restrictions or blackout dates on redeeming points for travel
when a client redeems via the new “My Way Rewards” travel option. In addition, RBC Rewards will also
offer travel gift cards and will continue to offer its full-service travel agency redemption option.
Key enhancements to the program also include higher return for RBC Bank clients and points pooling.
Clients will earn more points per dollars charged on their cards and have the option to share points with
friends and family by pooling from multiple credit and check cards. The pooling concept, which also
allows clients to combine points earned from their own credit and checking accounts, will enable
members to earn points more aggressively and achieve large rewards faster.
Current RBC Bank cardholders will maintain all points previously earned in the RBC Rewards program,
which will be combined with any future points earned through the newly enhanced program.
